The University of Jammu and Kashmir was founded in the year 1948. It is situated at Hazratbal in Srinagar

Eligibility for M.Ed entrance exam:
Candidate must have B.Ed degree with 3 years teaching experience in a recognized Educational Institute.

Duration of M.Ed: 1 Year

Entrance exam:
The eligible candidates required to appear in an Entrance Test
The Entrance Test conducts during the first/ second week of March

Paper pattern:
Question paper consists of multiple choice objective type questions carrying a total of sixty marks.
