Ads you want I am here providing you the detail about the age limit for KAS Exam and date for exam.

Age Limit :

Min. age : 21 years

Max. age : 35 years

Upper age limit relaxed as:

5 years for SC/ST and category I candidates.

3 years for Other backward category candidates.

10 years for Physically Handicapped or Widow
candidates.

Important dates:
Opening date for registration:
May 12, 2014

Closing date for registration:
June 12, 2014

Date of preliminary examination (In two Sessions): October 12, 2014

Date of main examination:
March 1, 2015

The eligibility details as well as the educational qualification required for the Karnataka Administrative Services examination are as follows:

Eligibility for KAS

Age Limit:


Every Aspirant must have attained the age of 21 years and not attained the age of
35 years as on the last date specified for receipt of application or on such other date as
may be specified by the Government.

Upper age limit shall be relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST and category I Aspirants.
Upper age limit shall be relaxed by 3 years for Other backward category Aspirants.
Upper age limit shall be relaxed by 10 years for Physically Handicapped or Widow Aspirants .

Upper age limit shall be relaxed in the case of Aspirants who is a ex-serviceman, by the number of years of service rendered by him in the Armed forces of the Union.


Attempts at the Examination:
Unlimited number of attempts in case of Aspirants belongs to SC/ST ( Age limit considered).
7 attempts in case of Aspirants belongs other backward caste.
5 attempts to General Merit Aspirants.

Academic Qualification:
Aspirants should possesses a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree awarded by a University established Law in India are Possesses an equivalent qualification.

Note: Aspirants who have appeared for an examination, passing of which would render them educationally qualified for preliminary examination held by the Commission, but the results of which have not been declared, are also eligible for admission to such preliminary examination
