Department of Chemistry of Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences was established in 2007 and from then the Programme has been engaged in imparting the highest level and quality of academic education.

It has grown greatly in infrastructure, research and strength of the faculty. The faculties strive to promote the innovative interest of the student community and also to furnish them with insights into the wonders of creation, which is closely connected to the development of mankind.

The Programme caters to the need of every branch of Engineering and also has the potential of offering many degree programmes. The Programs offered are M.Sc. M. PhiI., Ph.D. Chemistry (FT/ PT). The alumni of the Division occupy high positions in industry and in academics.
