As you want I am here telling you about the eligibility criteria to appear in examination of Karnataka Public Service Commission.

Karnataka Public Service Commission exam eligibility criteria :

Candidate should be a Indian origin.

Candidate must have Graduation degree from a recognized university.

Candidate no need to any kind of marks percentage required this exam.

Candidate age limit should be between the 21 to 30 years.

Upper age relaxation applicable.
3 years relaxation for OBC candidates
5 years age relaxation for SC\St candidates.

Attempts:
4 attempts for the General category
7 attempts for OBC candidates
No limit of attempts for the SC\ST candidates.

Both male & female candidates are eligible for this exam.

Physical fitness is required.

Preliminary Exam
Mains Exam
Interview

Karnataka Public Service Commission or the KPSC exam is also known as the KAS examination.

The Karnataka Public Service Commission OR KPSC is the apex body for the staff selection and is empowered to carry out recruitment and conduct Competitive Examinations, Departmental Examinations etc,

Eligibilty for KPSC:

Education Qualification:

Applicants should have educational qualification according to the post. Most of the posts require the candidate to have a graduation degree from a recognized university.

Age Limit and Relaxation

Age limit – Minimum @ 18 years
Maximum @ 33 years

Relaxation in age for different categories is as follows:-

(i) SC/ST/Cat.I @ 5 years

(ii) 2A/2B/3A/3B @ 3 years

(iii) EX-MP @ Number of years served by them plus 3 years.

(iv) Physically Handicapped @ 10 years

(v) Widows @ 10 years

(vi) In-service @ No. of years of actual service rendered by them in any of the Departments of Karnataka State or any Dept. owned or controlled by the Government of Karnataka or 10 years whichever is less.

(vii) No. of years of service rendered by a applicant who has been released from National cadet Corps.( N.C.C) after service as a whole-time Cadet Instructor.

(viii) No. of years of service rendered by the applicant as Village Group Inspector appointed in a Rural Industrialisation Scheme sponsored by the State Government.

(ix) No. of years of service rendered by the applicant who is or was a Member or a Staff of the former Maharaja of Mysore.

(x) No. of years of service rendered by the applicant who is/was holding a post under the Census Organisation of Government of India or five years whichever is less.

(xi) An applicant who is a bonded labourer by 10 years.
