Karnataka PGET Medical Eligibility

I am intersetde in the field of medical science and planning to give the Karnataka PGET of COMEDK Exam for doing medical courses. Will you please provide me what the eligibility required to apply for this exam and also provide me important dates for this PGET Exam?

Government of Karnataka Department of Medical Education in association with Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) conducts the Karnataka PGET of COMEDK Exam for admission 50% state quota seats in Master of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Diploma program.

Eligibility:

You must have passed the MBBS/BDS from an Institution recognized by MCI / DCI.
You should have completed or be completing their internship before April 30, 2016.
You must have obtained a permanent registration with the MCI / DCI or any of the State Medical Council/ Dental Council.
You must secure the following minimum marks in COMEDK PGET 2016 Entrance Test
50% marks for general candidates
40% marks for SC/ ST candidates (All India) and OBC from Karnataka State.

Exam pattern:

Exam Type- COMEDK PGET 2015 is a Computer based exam.
No. of Questions- There will be separate test for PG Medical and PG Dental Courses. Each test will have 180 Multiple-Choice Questions.
Exam Duration- Total Time Duration of COMEDK PGET 2016 is 3 hours. The test will begin at 10:00 AM and end at 01:00 PM.
Marking Scheme- 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer and there is no negative marking in the entrance exam.
