Will you tell me when the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) exam for admission in MBA course will conducted ? Please provide me the detail about the eligibility for appearing the Karnataka PGCET exam ?

Karnataka Examination Authority conducts Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) for admissions to MBA, MCA and M.E. / M. Tech / M. Arch courses. Karnataka PGCET MBA Eligibility Criteria One must have Bachelor degree of minimum 3 years from a recognised university One must obtain a minimum of 50% across subjects For SC/ST & Category-I, a 5% relaxation is granted, i.e. the minimum score of 45% marks across subjects must be secured by the candidates belonging to this category. Karnataka PGCET MBA Syllabus:- Proficiency in English Language: (Section A) a. Synonyms b. Antonyms c. One word Substitution d. Idioms and phrases e. Pairs expressing relationships f. Grammar g. Famous Books in English Literature h. Sentence Correction General Knowledge : (Section B) a. Indian Business Environment b. Global Environment c. Social Events d. Cultural Events e. Economics f. Management g. Political Events h. Historical Events I. Current Affairs j. Sports k. Awards l. Personalities and Achievements m. Science and Technology n. Humanities Test of Reasoning and General Intelligence (Section C) a. Puzzles b. Diagrams c. Analogy d. Logic e. Verbal Ability f. Analytical Ability g. Related Aspects Quantitative Analysis (Section D) a. Arithmetic b. Data Analysis and Interpretation c. Statistics d. Related Quantitative Aspects Karnataka PGCET MBA Pattern The PGCET for MBA, conducted for 100 marks with 150 minutes duration. Each question paper will be of (Objective) Multiple Choice type. The question paper will be in four different versions. Each question will have four different options. Each question will carry one mark. All questions are compulsory. There will be no negative evaluation with regard to wrong answers but marks will not be awarded in respect of multiple answers. |
