Re: In Karnataka Gazetted probationers Age limit

Here are the KPSC KAS Gazetted probationers eligibility criteria:

Age limit
Every candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and not attained the age of
35 years.

Upper age limit shall be relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST and category I candidates.

Upper age limit shall be relaxed by 3 years for Other backward category candidates.

Upper age limit shall be relaxed by 10 years for Physically Handicapped or Widow candidates.

Qualification:
The Candidate should Possesses Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree awarded by a University established Law in India are Possesses an equivalent qualification.

Attempts at the Examination:
Unlimited number of attempts in case of candidate belongs to SC/ST (Age limit considered).

7 attempts in case of candidate belongs Other backward caste.

5 attempts to General merit candidates

Exam pattern

KAS exam is conducted into 3 parts:
Part I -Preliminary exam
Part II: Main Examination
Part III: Personality Test

As per modifications done by karnataka state government the age limit has been increased by two years for kpsc gazetted probationers,and an additional two chances for attempts will be given. ie in future following will be the age limit for the candidates
GM-37Years
OBC-40 Years
SC/ST -42 years
