Re: Karnataka Engineering Colleges Admission

Admission into Engineering Colleges of Karnataka will be based on the CET, Common Entrance Test, Karnataka. The area for admission is to the First year or First semester of full time courses in Medical, Dental, Ayurveda, Unani, Homoeopathy, Naturopathy & Yoga, Engineering, Technology and Architecture courses, in institutions within the State of Karnataka.

Selection Procedure:
The selection will be based on the performance in KCET Entrance Exam and then short listed candidates will be allowed for the KCET Counseling in which the seat will be allotted to them on the basis of their score in KCET Exam.

The KCET Entrance Exam
This exam will consist of three sections in total.
All the question will be only from three subjects, i.e., Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have completed XII class with Maths and Physics as compulsory subjects and Bio-technology / Electronics / Chemistry / Computer Science / Biology as optional subject or equivalent examination with minimum of 45% Marks.
All the subject must have been studied in English language.
