No, you can not apply for both medical and engineering subject (Biology and Maths) at the same time in Karnataka CET exam form. You have to apply for only one course means medical or engineering.

The Karnataka Common Entrance Test is conducted for admission of Karnataka candidates to the courses in Medical, Dental, Ayurveda, Unani, Homoeopathy, Naturopathy & Yoga, Engineering, Technology and Architecture courses, in institutions within the State of Karnataka.

Eligibility Criteria:

XII class with Maths and physics as compulsory subjects and Bio-technology / Electronics / Chemistry / Computer Science / Biology as optional subject or equivalent examination with minimum of 45% marks. All the subject must have been studied by the candidates in English language.

Selection Procedure:

The selection will be on the basis of their performance in KCET Entrance Exam and out of them the short listed candidates will be allowed to attend the KCET Counseling in which the seat will be allotted to them on the basis of their score in KCET Exam.

Exam Pattern:

It will be consisting of three sections in total. All the question asked in the exam will be only from three subjects, i.e., Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics.
There will be a total of 180 questions asked in the exam.
Each section will be of 60 marks each and the timing for each section will be 80 minutes.
The candidates will get 1 mark for every correct answer and no negative marking will be done for any incorrect or multiple marked answer.

The Karnataka Common Entrance Test is conducted for the purpose of determining the eligibility / merit, for admission of Karnataka candidates to the First year or First semester of full time courses in Medical, Dental, Ayurveda, Unani, Homoeopathy, Naturopathy & Yoga, Engineering, Technology and Architecture courses, in institutions within the State of Karnataka.

A parallel entrance test is held by the Karnataka Private Medical & Dental Colleges Association under the name of Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK). This is independant of the government conducted CET and is used to fill some part of the seats of certain engineering/medical/dental colleges in Karnataka.

Non-Karnataka students (students not eligible to be considered in the Karnataka quota) cannot appear for the CET. They can only appear for the COMEDK examination.

The selection will be on the basis of their performance in KCET 2015 Exam and out of them the short listed candidates will be allowed to attend the KCET 2015 Counseling in which the seat will be allotted to them on the basis of their score in KCET 2015 Exam.
