The Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University was previously known as Kanpur University located in Kanpur.

CSJM University offers various professional and academic courses which include Arts, Science, commerce, Computer science, medicine, and Engineering. It was founded in 1966.

The candidates have to select any four cities of their choice for examination of NET June. The efforts will be made to allot city of examination to the candidates in order of the choice opted by them in their application form.
