Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) provides admission in MBBS Program through National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (UG).

NEET is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in Medical/Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

Eligibility
10+2 pass with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English with minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together for general category candidates and 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together for SC/ST Candidates.


Age: Lower age should be 17 & upper age limit should be maximum 25 years. The upper age limit may be relaxed by five year for SC/ST candidates.

90 questions from Biology and 45 questions each from Physics and Chemistry

Marking Scheme
+4 for each correct response
-1 for each incorrect response

Syllabus
The Medical Council of India (MCI) recommended the NEET for admission to MBBS/BDS courses across the country after review of various State syllabi as well as those prepared by CBSE, NCERT and COBSE.
