Hi I would like to have the information about the formation of Odisha Gramya Bank by the amalgamation of Neelachal Gramya Bank, Kalinga Gramya Bank and Baitarani Gramya Bank?

Odisha Gramya Bank is set up on seventh January 2013 with the amalgamation of Neelachal Gramya Bank, Kalinga Gramya Bank and Baitarani Gramya Bank according to the Government of India ,Department of Financial Services,Ministry of back, Notification No. F.1/1/2012-RRB dated 07.01.2013 issued under sub-section(1) of segment 23A of Regional Rural Bank Act 1976(21 of 1976).The share capital of the Bank is contributed by the Government of India(50%),the Government of Odisha(15%) and the Indian Overseas Bank(35%) .Indian Overseas Bank is the support bank.

The Head Office of the Bank is loacated at Bhubaneswar.The bank has 9 territorial workplaces situated at Balasore, Baripada, Cuttack, Chandikhol, Dhenkanal, Jashipur, Khurda, Keonjhar and Pipli.

The bank has a system of 547 branches spread more than 13 Districts in Odisha State viz., Angul, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Keonjhar, Khurda, Mayurbhanj, Nayagarh & Puri.

To give training to the Staff individuals a Learning Center is built up at HO. Bank has set up Central Clearing Office at Bhubaneswar. Bank has a house magazine called "SRUSTI".
