Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University was built up by the Government of Bangladesh on 01 March 2005, however the activity for its foundation was taken a few years prior, initially by a non-official gathering of socio-social neighborhood elites, to be specific Greater Mymensingh Cultural Forum. The college was initially imagined to be worked as the main social college in Bangladesh, yet the JKKNIU Act sanctioned in 2006 made it a general college with an exceptional concentrate on liberal-cum-performing expressions training and research.
