Joining in merchant navy after B.E

Can I join merchant navy after B.E , plz guide me about it as I want join it

You want to join merchant navy, so I want to say that you can definitely join merchant navy after B.E . For that you have to appear in an entrance exam conducted by Indian Maritime University (IMU).
Its course is known as graduate marine engineering course (GME). After selection you have to do an afloat training in some merchant training vessel and then you can join the merchant navy as a Vth engineer.
