Yes you can join Indian Air Force after completing B.Sc through CDS.

UPSC Union Public Service Commission conducts CDS Combined Defense Services Examination.

Eligibility Criteria:

Nationality:
A candidate must be a citizen of India.
If a candidate is subject of Nepal, or Bhutan is also eligible.
If a Tibetan refugee who live in India before 1st January, 1962 is also eligible.

Age Limit:
Minimum age is 19 years.

Maximum age is 25 years.

Educational Qualification:
Candidate must have a engineering graduate degree of a recognized University with Physics and Mathematics

Physical Standards:
Candidates must be physically fit as per Combined Defense Services Examination.

You are eligible to join the Indian Air force (IAF) after passing the B.Sc course. You can join the Flying Branch of Indian Air force. To get into the Indian Air force you need to qualify the Combined Defence Services Examination conducted by the Union Public Service commission (UPSC).

Eligibility Criteria:


Applicant need to have gradation degree form recognized university in any stream with Physics and Mathematics in 10+2.

Age -19 to 23 years
Marital Status - Single
Nationality - Indian
Gender - Both men and women.

Selection Procedure: Selection of the candidate depends on followings:

Combined Defence Services Examination (Written Test)
Interview
Medical test

The written test contains following sections:

1. English (Objective type) 100 Marks
2. General Knowledge(Objective type) 100 Marks
3. Elementary Mathematics (Objective type) 100 Marks

Total 300 Marks

Combined Defence Services Examination syllabus:

English:

Words, grammar and usage, structure of English language etc.

General Knowledge:

General Knowledge, including knowledge of current events of everyday observation, History of India, geography etc

Elementary Mathematics

Arithmetic, Unitary method, Elementary Number Theory, Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry and Mensuration etc.
