Joining Air Force after B.Com

Can you tell me how can I join Air force after completion B.Com? Also tell me about the eligibility required for admission in Air force?

As a Commerce graduate one can't join Indian Air force but one is eligible for the Indian Military. For Air force one must have Physics and Maths as a subject at 12th level and in Commerce one have Maths as a subject and Physics is not a part of one’s course. But still one can go for the Indian Military and Officer's Training academy.

You need to clear Common Defence Services (CDS) exam for which the UPSC conducts the exam and one can go for the IMA as well as for the OTA Departments through the exam.

Education Qualification Required for the IMA:

The Candidate must be a Graduate from a recognized Indian university
The Candidate of the final year is also eligible appear in the exam
The Candidate need to clear with physics and Maths at 12th level for IAF and Naval

Age Limits:
The Age required for the IAF 19-23
The age required for the IMA 19-24
The age required for the Naval 19-22
The Age required for the OTA 19-25

Nationality:

A candidate must be either:
1. a citizen of India , or
2. a subject of Bhutan , or
3. a subject of Nepal , or
4. a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1 Jan 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India
