--Qualification:Pre Final year applicants of Engineering Degree Course

--Martial Status:Unmarried

--Training at Indian Military Academy(IMA) Dehradun in July

>TGC Engineers

*Eligibility Criteria:-

--Age between :20 and 27 yrs as of first day of month in which course is due to commence

--Qualification:BE / B Tech final appearing & degree holders in notified streams of Engineers

--Marital Status:Un Married / Married

--Training at IMA

--Duration of Training : 1 year

>Short Service Commission Technical Men

*Eligibility Criteria:-

--Age between: 20 to 27 yrs as on first day of the month in which course is due to commence

--Qualification:Engineering Degree in notified discipline

--Marital Status:Un Married / Married

--Date Commencement of Training:Oct and Apr

--Training Academy: Officers training academy(OTA) , Chennai

--Duration of Training : 49 weeks

>Since you would also be a graduate,you can give Combined defense services exam(CDS)taken by UPSC twice a year and enter army

>Job of Engineers in Indian Army:-

The need for accurate survey arose before combat engineering. Vast holdings had to be carefully delineated and mapped out, to plan the correct form of commercial extraction.
