As you want to join Indian Air Force after B.Sc so here is the information of the same for you:

According to me the best options through which you can join Indian Air Force are:

First way is by giving the entrance exam of AFCAT

Second way is by giving the entrance exam of CDS that is Combined Defence Services

Here for your reference I am giving you the eligibility criteria of these 2 entrance exams:

Eligibility Criteria for CDS:

Age-Limits:
19-24 Years Indian Military Academy
19-22 Years Naval Academy
19-23 Years Air Force Academy
19-25 Years Officers’ Training Academy

Educational Qualifications:
IMA & OTA:
Candidates must have passed graduation from a recognized University or equivalent

Naval Academy:
Candidates must have passed B.Sc with Physics & Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering

Air Force Academy:
Candidates must have passed B.Sc. with Physics and/or Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering

CDS Exam Pattern:
(A) For Admission to Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Air Force Academy:
Subject Duration Maximum Marks
English 2 Hours 100
General Knowledge 2 Hours 100
Elementary Mathematics 2 Hours 100

(B) For Admission to Officers’ Training Academy:
Subject Duration Maximum Marks
English 2 Hours 100
General Knowledge 2 Hours 100

Eligibility Criteria for AFCAT:
CDSE (COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICES EXAMINATION) (FOR MEN ONLY):

Eligibility criteria:-
•Age - 19 to 23 years (at the time of commencement of course)
•Nationality – Indian
•Marital Status - Single
•Gender - Men only.

Educational Qualifications:
Candidates must have passed graduation in any discipline from a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) / BE / B Tech (Four Year Course).

Or

Candidates, who are in Final Year/semester students are also eligible to apply, provided they produce Degree certificate issued by the University as per the date stipulated in the advertisement.

There is no percentage bar for this type of entry.

NCC SPECIAL ENTRY (FOR MEN ONLY) (Through NCC Air Squadrons / DG NCC)

Eligibility Criteria:-

•Age –19 to 23 years (at the time of commencement of course)
•Nationality - Indian
•Marital Status - Single
•Gender - Men only.

Educational Qualifications:
Candidates must have passed graduation in any discipline from a recognised University with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together and have passed Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level

Or

Candidates must have passed BE/B.Tech (Four Year Course) from a recognised University with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together.

Or

Candidates who are in Final Year/semester students are also eligible to apply, provided they do not have any present backlogs at the time of SSB Testing and produce Degree certificate issued by the University as per the date stipulated in the advertisement.

SSC (SHORT SERVICE COMMISSION) ENTRY( FOR MEN AND WOMEN):

Eligibility Criteria:

•Age - 19 to 23 years (at the time of commencement of course).Upper age limit for Candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxed up to 25 years(at the time of commencement of course).
•Nationality - Indian
•Marital Status – Single
•Gender - Men and Women

Educational Qualifications:
Candidates must have passed graduation in any discipline from a recognised University who have attained minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together and have Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level OR BE / B Tech (Four Year Course) from a recognised university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together.

Or

Candidates who are in Final Year are are also eligible to apply, provided they do not have any backlog at the time of SSB Testing and produce Degree certificate issued by the University as per the date stipulated in the advertisement.

AFCAT Exam Pattern:
•The AFCAT 2015 Question Paper will have 100 questions. All questions will be of three marks each.
•For every correct answer you will get three marks and for every wrong answer one mark will be deducted under negative marking.
•The total time allotted for the paper is two hours.

Note:
These 2 entrance exams also depend in which field you have done your B.Sc. For these entrance exams you must have done B.Sc in Physics or Mathematics.

Can you tell me if I can join IAF (Indian Air Force) after clearing B Sc (Bachelor of Science) in Flying Branch as I want to make a carrier in this field and serve my country?

When it comes to Flying Branch, selected candidates have to undergo training at the Air Force Academy. They will be trained to fly Fighter planes, Helicopter, Transportation Aircraft etc belonging to the IAF. The career of an IAF Pilot is a glamorous one.


Flying Branch

As a graduate, you enter the Flying branch through the Air Force Academy, which is one of the most prestigious training establishments of the Indian Air Force. Here you are trained and prepared for your responsibilities as a pilot. You are trained either as a Fighter pilot, or a Helicopter pilot, or a Transport pilot in the Flying branch.


Eligibility criteria for Flying Branch:

Age –
19 to 23 years


Marital Status –
Single


Nationality –
Indian


Gender –
This is applicable to both men and women.


Educational Qualifications –
One must be a graduate in any stream with Physics and Mathematics in 10+2.


The following are the three modes of entry for graduates to join the Flying Branch:


Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE)
One can take the Combined Defence Services Exam to join the Flying Branch of the Indian Air Force conducted by UPSC.
Men can join the Air Force through this mode of entry and will be given a Permanent Commission.
Candidates qualifying the written test are interviewed by the Service Selection Board and if finally selected, depending on their merit list ranking, are sent to Air Force Academy, Begumpet in Hyderabad for orientation training.


National Cadet Corps
As a senior division 'C' Certificate holder of the National Cadet Corps, one can apply to the Flying Branch of the Indian Air Force.
Men can join the Air Force through this mode of entry and will be given a Permanent Commission.


Women (Short Service Commission)
If one is a woman, one is eligible for a Short Service Commission to the Flying Branch.
