I have done graduation and now want to apply for CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) Recruitment for Assistant Commandant Post so please give me details including selection procedure and number of post for Assistant Commandant available in CRPF?

The CRPF gives opportunity to those who have passed VIII standard up to graduates. Women can also get entries in some categories of CRPF. The selection board of Central Police Organizations (CPO) selected the officers of CRPF through competitive examination, physical test, medical test and interview



CRPF Eligibility Criteria

Qualifications-
A minimum of Intermediate/10+2/equivalent is necessary, typing (35-40 words per minute in English; 25-30 words per minute in Hindi; shorthand 80 words per minute)is required for the post of Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer) in CRPF.

Age Limit-
18-25 yrs

Physical Standards-
A minimum of 170 cms. (5 cms. Relation for Adivasis or Tribals) Chest-81 cms. (A minimum of 5 cms. of expansion; tribals 77-82cms

Women Candidates-
A minimum of 157 cms. of height (154-155 cms. for Adivasis or Tribals)
Eyesight Near Vision (corrected vision) J.I (better eye); J.II (worse eye)
Distant vision – better eye (corrected vision) - 6/6 or 6/9. Worse eye 6/12 or 6/9
Flat feet, Knock knees, squint in eyes and physical defects ruled out
