Yes, ofcourse you can join Indian Air force while studying in B.Tech course, here is eligibility criteria:

You can apply for Indian Air Force Technical Branch, under University Entry Scheme (UES) scheme, here are eligibility criteria:

Those who are studying in the final semester of B.Tech course can apply through this scheme.

The candidates should have minimum of 60% aggregate up to last semester at the time of applying for or during AFSB testing.

They should not have any backlogs during the previous semesters.

It is mandatory that they should obtain minimum of 60% aggregate on successful completion of B.Tech course.

Only men candidates can forward their application as this scheme is under permanent commission.

Candidates applying through both these schemes should qualify the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT).

Syllabus for Exam

General Awareness syllabus includes subjects like Current Affairs, Defence, History, Geography, Civics, Sports, Basic Science, Environment, Politics, Art, and Culture.

Verbal ability in English will examine knowledge of English with respect to Comprehension, Synonyms, Antonyms, Error Detection, Vocabulary Evaluation, and Sentence Completion.

Numerical Ability paper will cover Decimal, Fraction, Simplification, Average, Profit & Loss, Simple Interest, Ratio, and Proportion.

Reasoning and Military Aptitude tests verbal skills along with spatial ability.
