Jobs for CPL Holders in Indian Air Force

Would you please tell how Commercial Pilots/CPL holders may join Flying Branch in Indian Air Force ( IAF ) ?

CPL holders have to go through tough selection procedure to get a place in Flying Branch in Indian Air Force ( IAF ) .

Selection procedure consists:
Written test,
SSB (Services Selection Board) Interview,
Medical Examination etc.

Eligibility :

Applicant must have at least a Graduation Degree.

He/she must complete10+2 level study in Science stream schooling with Physics, Chemistry and Maths as the main subjects.

Age limit :
Upper age limit is 24 years.

For CPL holders under the SSC (Short Service Commission) Scheme relaxed age limit is 26 years.

Physical standard :

Good Physical and Mental health
Good hearing
Well developed chests
(expansion should be at least 5cm after full inspiration)
