For following job positions you can apply in Army after clearing CDS exam:

Lieutenant
Captain
Major
Lt. Colonel
Colonel
Brigadier
Major General
Lt. General
General
Field Marshal

If you are also a defence aspirant who missed your chance after school, you can go for Combined Defence Services Examination or CDS. It is the entrance exam required to be passed to join Indian Army after completion of Graduation.

There are certain eligibility criteria to appear in CDS exam like:

Aspirant has to be a physically fit Citizen of India

A Graduate/Final year of Graduation from a recognized institution

At the commencement of CDS, age should be between:
1)19 and 24 for IMA (PC), Male
2)19 and 25 for OTA (SSC- Non Tech), Male/ Female
