There are 2 types of Services in Indian Army where girls can apply .
1) Short Service Commission
2) Permanent Commission

Short Service Commission Woman
In Short Service Commission , woman can join Indian Army through Technical and Non-Technical Entry.

NCC Entry
Educational Qualification:-
Candidates should have Degree of a recognised University or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years.
Age Limit:- 19 to 25 Years.
Service in NCC :
Candidates Should have served for minimum two academic years in the senior Division/ Wing of N.C.C.

Grading:
Candidates Should have obtained minimum of ‘B’ Grade in ‘C’ Certificate Exam
of NCC.

For Non-Technical Entry
Educational Qualification:-
Candidates should be graduate from any discipline such as B.Sc,B.C.A etc
Age Limit:- 19 to 29 years


For Technical Entry
Educational Qualification:- B.E/B.Tech in the notified branch.
Age Limit:- 20 to 31 years

Physical Standard

Height & Weight :- The minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cms

Visual Standards:- The minimum acceptable visual acuity are: Distant Vision (corrected)
better eye 6/6, worse eye 6/18, myopia of not more than minus 5.50 for woman.
