Hey as The Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research is a multidisciplinary research institute.

Eligibility for Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering Mechanics

Candidates with an M Sc., B E, B Tech, M E, M Tech or MBBS are eligible to apply. They should have at least 50% in their highest University examination, and should also have qualified in the GATE / UGC - CSIR - NET, JRF / ICMR, JRF / JEST / or any other advanced entrance examination.

Candidates with a Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology/ Medicine, however, do not require a qualifying exam.
