JIPMER PG Entrance Weightage
As I want to get admission in the Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education & Research so I have applied for the JIPMER PG Entrance exam and now doing the preparation of it so can you please provide me details that what is the weightage of the MCQs in the question paper of JIPMER PG Entrance exam?

Please find the details of the JIPMER PG Entrance examination as mentioned below: Eligibility: In order to be entitled for admission to Postgraduate course at JIPMER, it will be compulsory for a candidate to obtain a percentile of 50 and above in the Entrance Examination. However, in respect of candidates who belong to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes including OPH, the minimum percentile shall be 40. in reverence of Unreserved Orthopedic Physically Challenged (OPH) candidates, 45 shall be the minimum percentile. Duration – The period of entrance exam will be of 3 hours Marking Scheme - for every right response 4 Marks will awarded and 1 mark will be deducted for wrong response. Zero mark will be given for the questions not opted. More than one answer indicated alongside a question will be deemed as incorrect response and negative mark will be given The reply of the candidate for a question on click of ‘submit button’ before closing of examination shall be considered as the reply chosen by the candidate. If a question is answered and marked for reconsider, the answer for that question will be considered in the evaluation. Syllabus - The syllabus for JIPMER PG entrance exam consists of subjects which include Basic Clinical Sciences and Clinical Sciences 1. Basic Clinical Sciences - 100 Questions Subjects - Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Pharmacology, Microbiology and Forensic Medicine & Toxicology 2. Clinical Sciences- 150 Questions Subjects - Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Community Medicine, Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, ENT, Anesthesiology, Dermatology, Psychiatry, Radio-diagnosis, Radio-therapy, Emergency Medicine, Nuclear Medicine, Blood Transfusion Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine.
