Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE) is an entrance exam that is taken by the JCECEB for offering admissions to applicants in various engineering courses in the colleges under the state.

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with a minimum aggregate of 45% in Physics, Chemistry and Maths.

The minimum aggregate score in case of reserved category is 40%.

There is no age limit for application.

Selection Procedure:
The selection and allocation of the seats will depend on the score and rank obtained in Jharkhand CET.

Paper Pattern:
Duration of exam will be 3 hours

The entrance test will comprise of objective type questions.

There will be 50 questions in each subject- Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.

Important Dates:

Applications available: March 22, 2014

Application submission: extended till April 22, 2014
JCECE 2014 Exam: May 8, 2014 from 9 am to 1.30 pm
Admit Card Download from May 5, 2014

Result date: Last week of May, 2014

In case of reserved category minimum aggregate score is 40%.

Exam Pattern:
The entrance test will constitutes objective type questions.
Duration of exam will be 3 hours
There will be 50 questions in each subject- Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.

Selection Procedure:
The selection depends on the score and rank obtained in Jharkhand CET.
