Physics General Properties of Matter, Heat, Measurement and Kinematics, Mechanics, Wave motion, Sound, Light, Laws of Motion, Gravitation, Oscillations, Thermodynamics, Magnetic Effect of Current and Magnetism, Electron Physics, Radiation, Optics, Semiconductor Devices, Atomic Physics, Electrostatics, and Current Electricity. One of the popular entrance exam conducted in the state of Jharkhand is Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE) 2016. The exam is framed & conducted by Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. The exam is conducted for intake of aspirants into the first year of Engineering and Medical courses. Important dates of JCECE 2016 1. JCECE 2016 will be conducted on: May 2016. 2. Form filling schedule for application: in the month of April 2016. 3. Issuance of JCECE admit card: tentatively in the first week of May 2016. 4. Declaration of JCECE 2016 Result: tentatively by the second week of June 2016. Eligibility Criteria of JCECE 2016 I. Residential Criteria: The aspirant must be an Indian resident and local or permanent resident of Jharkhand. The aspirant is required to submit a local or permanent resident certificate in the proper format at the time of counselling. It is essential that the certificate must be issued by the competent authority or else the same will not be accepted. II. Educational Criteria: The educational criteria depends on the course applied for 1. Medical courses: For M.B.B.S or B.D.S. Courses, it is essential for the applying aspirants to pass the 12th class or equivalent exam with at least 50% marks (General candidates) or 40% marks (reserve category candidates). Moreover, the candidates must have passed such examination along with subjects such as Chemistry, Physics, Biology or Bio-technology and English. 2. Engineering courses: Those aspirants who have passed the 12th class examination along with Maths and Physics as the compulsory subjects are eligible to apply for JCECE 2016. It is important to note that candidates belonging to reserved category must have scored at least 40% marks while the general category candidates must have obtained at least 45% marks in the subjects taken together. Age Limit: The age limit to apply for Jharkhand CET 2016 varies for diverse courses: 1. For engineering courses, there is no age limit to apply. 2. To take admission in medical courses, it is important for the aspirant to be aged 17 at the time of admission or should have reached the required age on or before 31 December 2016. |
