Jharkhand Academic Council is responsible for conducting examinations at the end of Intermediate, Secondary education etc.

The posts of Assistant Teacher are available in the subjects of Hindi, English, Home Science, Mathematics, Urdu, Sanskrit, Arbi, Bhagpuri, Bangla, Geography, Farsi, Oriya, Music etc.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will get the prescribed amount of salary.

Eligibility:

The minimum age limit set for the post of Assistant Teachers is 21 years

The maximum age limit set for the post of Assistant Teachers is 40 years

Applicants belonging to reserved categories will get relaxation in the upper age limit as per the rules and regulations of Government of India.

SC/ST Applicants will get relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit while OBC candidates will get relaxation of only 3 years.

Educational Qualification:
Applicants must have Graduation degree in the concerned discipline from a recognized university recognized by State Government or Central Government, is the minimum educational qualification required for the post of Assistant Teacher in Jharkhand Academic Council.

Applicants should also have possessed B.Ed. degree from a recognized institute of NCTE.
