The College of Horticulture and Forestry, Jhalawar was established in 2004. It had been earlier the 6th constituent college of MPUAT, Udaipur. Now after bifurcation of MPUAT, Udaipur, Agriculture University, Kota came into existence through promulgation of Act No. 22/2013 of Govt of Rajasthan, Jaipur during 2013 and since then, it formed the component of it.

Its mission is to offer under- graduate and post-graduate education in horticulture and forestry; to trigger teaching, research and extension in the field of horticulture and forestry and to act as a strong link for dissemination of technology, employment generation and development of entrepreneurship skill among the student masses.

Courses Offered

B.Sc. Horticulture (Hons.)
Eligibility: 50 % marks at 10+2 with Science/ Agriculture of RBSE, CBSE or an equivalent examination.

B.Sc. Forestry (Hons)
Eligibility: 50 % marks at 10+2 with Science/ Agriculture of RBSE, CBSE or an equivalent examination.

M.Sc. Horticulture- Fruit Science, Vegetable Science, Floriculture & Landscaping, and Post-Harvest Technology
Eligibility: Bachelors degree in the respective/ related subject with 5.5/10.0 or equivalent OGPA for General c

M.Sc. Forestry
Eligibility: Bachelors degree in B.Sc. Forestry with minimum OGPA 6.00/ 10.00 scale under course credit system or with minimum 60% marks under annual system from recognized Indian University or degree from foreign University with at least B grade or its equivalent recognized by Govt. of India.
