JEST SYLLABUS

The JEST screening test for entrance to the PhD programme in Physics focusses on the
following broad areas:

Thermodynamics and Statistical Mechanics
Mathematical Methods
Electronics and Experimental Methods
Advanced topics (like Atomic, Molecular and Nuclear Physics and very elementary
