Re: JEMAT Exam Negative Marking
No, as per my knowledge there is no option of negative marking in Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test (JEMAT) exam which is conducted by West Bengal University of Technology, on behalf of Government of West Bengal for admission into postgraduate business administration (MBA) course offered by various institutions located in the state of West Bengal. Syllabus There is no specific syllabus has been designed for appearing in the entrance examination. The candidates are generally examined under three sections- English, Mathematics and Logical Reasoning. English In order to attempt the English section, the candidate can practice Reading Comprehension, which includes both passages and Poems. One should also know the synonyms, anonyms, dictionary meanings of different words, and correct grammar usage and their rules. Mathematics For scoring well in the Mathematics section, the candidate has to thoroughly study Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Statistic, and Trigonometry. Logical Reasoning Section of Logical Reasoning consists of questions like find the odd one, coding & decoding, Data Interpretation, identifying Strong arguments and Weak arguments, identifying next number in series, Identifying Probably true, Probably false, definitely true, definitely false kind of statement, etc. JEMAT Entrance Exam Pattern JEMAT Written test will be of 2 hours duration consisting of objective type questions of 100 marks divided into three sections as given below:- Section I English 40 Section II Mathematics 40 Section III Logical Reasoning 20 |
