I want to know the dates and the eligibility of Joint Entrance Exam JEE Main 2017 so can you please tell me?

Joint Entrance Exam JEE Main is a national Level Entrance Exam conducted by CBSE for admission in B.Tech/B.Arch programmes offered by NITs, IIITs and other engineering institutions.

JEE Main 2017 offline exam will conduct on 2nd April 2017 and online exam on 8th & 9th April, 2017.

JEE Main Eligibility Criteria

Candidates appearing/passed 12th or equivalent exam in 2015 or 2016 with PCM are eligible to apply.

Candidates who have passed 12th or equivalent exam in 2014 are not eligible to apply.

Aspirants should have minimum five subjects in 12th/qualifying examination.

Diploma (3 years) holders are also eligible to apply.

Age Limit: Candidate’s date of birth should fall on or after 01 October, 1992 for general candidates and 01, October 1987 for SC, ST and PwD candidates.

JEE Main Exam Pattern

Courses: It is held for engineering courses (B.Tech/BE).

Number of Questions: It is consisted of 90 MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions).

Subjects: The paper will be asked from subjects as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Language: Hindi, English (candidates can select while filling the application form)

Mode: It will be commenced via both; online & offline.

Duration: 3 hours. (4 hours for the candidates having 40% or more disability)

Marking Scheme: 4 marks for each correct response.

Negative Marking: 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response or multi-responses.
