Hello, here I am providing you the details of the eligibility to give the exam of the IIT JEE as under: About the exam: JEE-Advanced is for admission to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), and Indian School of Mines Dhanbad, an institute that will be converted to IIT, while the JEE-Main exam is for admission to Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs). Eligibility: Class XII or other qualifying exam must be passed OR Also the students who are giving their Class XII exam are eligible. A Candidate should have studied (and passed) minimum five subjects in their Class XII or other qualifying exam. Percentage requires: B.E / B.Tech 5 subjects, with minimum 45% marks (For general category) 40% in case of reserved category candidates B.Arch / B.Planning Mathematics is required, with 50% marks in total. (5 Subjects) Age limit: 17 to 25 years No. of attempts: 3 Important Dates: 0nline application process will start from 1st December 2015 Last date of form submission: 31st December 2015 Pen and Paper mode examination date 03-04-2016 Online examination dates - 9th April and 10th April 2016 |
