JECRC University is a private university is established under the Act No.15/2012 of the Government of Rajasthan, Notification FIL2 (23) Vidhi/2/2012, dated 02/05/2012 Private University Estd in Rajasthan State by Act No 15 of year 2012. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi.

It aims at becoming a valuable resource for industry and society through its interventions in creation of research and innovation culture, academic and professional enhancement, cultural enrichment and character building.

JECRC is among the top Engineering Colleges in India. It is the only RTU affiliated college in the list of top 100 engineering colleges of India in a recent survey conducted by THE WEEK magazine.
