• Staff Selection commission carry out the Junior Engineer Examination every year to fill the various vacancies in different trades for various government organizations and departments.
• This exam consist two papers as Paper-I and Paper-II. Paper-II is related to the trade of the candidates. These are Objective type written exam which is followed by personal interview and medical test of the candidates.

Eligibility Criteria
The Nationals of India are eligible to apply for SSC JE exam.
Educational Qualifications
Contender who wants to apply for this examination must have B.E / B.Tech Degree/ Diploma in Civil / Electrical or Mechanical from any recognized University or Institute.
Age Limit
• Contestant’s age should be restricted in between 18 to 27 years on the specified date of exam.
• Age relaxations will be applicable as per Indian government rules.
Application Fee Structure
• Application fee is Rs. 100/- for General and OBC Category candidates.
• Aspirants who belong to SC / ST / EXSM / PWD and all women don’t need to pay any fee.
Mode of Payment
Processing fee can be paid in the form of Challan or through SBI net banking.
Selection Procedure
Qualified candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in screening test and Interview.
