The Post Graduate Department of Home Sciences, Jammu University was established in 1988

The Department aims at overcoming underdevelopment and empowering individuals for societal excellence.

Programmes Offered :-

At present the department runs the postgraduate programme in Human Development and doctorate degree course in Home Science.

Intake capacity for Masters Degree Programme is 20 per year (Open Category) and 03 per year (Payment Category).

The department has so far produced 42 Ph.Ds and 22 scholars are registered at present.
