Jamia Millia Islamia or JMI is a public central university situated in Delhi. It was set up at Aligarh in United Provinces, India during British rule in 1920. It became a Central University by an act of the Indian Parliament in 1988.

Part time study is best option for those who are working. JMI institute offers part time evening courses in areas like electrical, civil, mechanical, computer and electronics.

Eligibility Criteria:


In order to join for the part time course it is a must that the applicant has a diploma certificate of three years from polytechnic.

Diploma from a technical institute is also acceptable.

It is also a necessity that the candidate has at least 2 years relevant work experience.

In case you a diploma holder from JMI and you had a minimum of 70% marks you are eligible to apply.

For such candidates work experience is not needed.


The admission in Jamia Milia Islamia the admission is done on the basis of marks obtained in entrance test and interview.
