Acute Cardiac Unit (ACU) The Acute Cardiac Unit is a nine bedded unit that provides care for adult patients with a range of acute cardiac conditions. Acute Medicine The Acute Medicine service is split into EADU and AmbU, and looks after all acute medical patients whose condition necessitates hospital specialist review and therapies.
