The selection in Ph.D. / M. Phil courses in Jai Narayan Vyas University is done on the basis of MPET (M. Phil & Ph.D. Entrance Test) conducted by the University. The entrance exam consists of 100 MCQs and candidate need to obtain minimum 50% marks to qualify the examination.


Ph.D. Entrance Test Rules


One shall have passed the Master’s or any other equivalent examination in the respective subject or in a related subject, in this or any other University or Institution recognized as equivalent thereto.

One who has obtained First or Second class at the examination for a Master’s degree as specified above shall be eligible for appearing in JNVU-MPET

Application for appearing in JNVU-MPET is invited once in an Academic Year against vacant seats in different subjects.

Ordinarily the vacancies as on 15th June of every academic year for admission in M. Phil/Ph.D. Programme will be notified by the University.
