Hello saurabh, as you want some information about the Jadavpur university courses eligibility. The eligibility for the courses changes according to the courses. And the eligibility for one course is not the eligibility of other course. The common eligibility for all the courses is that you must be 12th pass. The eligibility required for B.A. (Honours) in Jadavpur University as you want to take admission in it is as follows: For Comparative Literature At least 60% in aggregate with 60% marks in first & second language each SC/ST: At least 45% in aggregate with 45% marks in first & second language each. For Sanskrit At least 60% in aggregate with 65% marks in Sanskrit. SC/ST: At least 45% in aggregate with 65% marks in Sanskrit. For Bengali At least 60% in aggregate with 60% marks in Bengali. SC/ST: At least 45% in aggregate with 45% marks in Bengali. For Philosophy At least 55% in aggregate SC/ST: At least 41% in aggregate For History At least 60% in aggregate SC/ST: At least 45% in aggregate For Political Science At least 60% in aggregate SC/ST: At least 45% in aggregate. For English At least 70% in aggregate SC/ST: At least 52.50% in aggregate. For Economics At least 70% in aggregate with 75% marks in Mathematics (marks in Business Mathematics will not be considered). SC/ST: At least 52.50% in aggregate with 56% marks in Mathematics (marks in Business Mathematics will not be considered). Selection Procedure Economics Marks obtained by the candidates in Mathematics shall be added to the aggregate marks calculated following the guideline laid down in aggregate marks calculation to arrive at the final score.
