Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test Medical is known as JKCET Medical It is a state level exam conducted for admission to medical courses such as MBBS and BDS programme in various institutes of Jammu and Kashmir medical colleges. JKCET Medical 2016 Exam Tentative Dates JKCET Medical Application Starts February, 2016 JKCET Medical Application Ends March, 2016 JKCET Medical exam May, 2016 Eligibility Criteria Candidates must be permanent residents of J&K State Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary Certificate exam or its equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually with at least 50% of marks (40% in case of SC/ ST/ OBC category and 45% in case of PH applicants) Exam Pattern The test comprises of 2 papers: Paper 1- Physics and Chemistry Paper 2- Biology 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer and 1 mark will be added for each correct answer.
