Established in 1889, the Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI) is one of the premier research institutions dedicated to livestock research and development of the region. The institute with faculty strength of more than 275 has a major mandate of research, teaching, consultancy and technology transfer activities.


The mandate of IVRI is to conduct research, provide postgraduate education and transfer of the technology in all areas of animal sciences with emphasis on animal health and production and to act as national referral centre for veterinary type cultures, disease diagnosis, biologicals, immunodiagnostics, etc.


Academic Management System: IVRI

Academic Management System (AMS-IVRI) is web enabled application software for management of various academic activities of the Veterinary College, IVRI, Izatnagar.

The system caters to the requirements of different users Dean, Registrar, Heads, Guides, Faculty, Teachers, Students, Administrators and Officials for performing their assigned tasks. The software is developed using latest Internet technologies such as .Net platform and SQL server. The system is user friendly and can be accessed ubiquitously.

The online capabilities of the system allow the students, faculty members and administrators to publish and retrieve the information from their respective disciplines. It has following sub modules:
