ISRO conducts an ISRO Assistant Written Exam exam for Assistant Post in administrative support staff. The written test is followed by an interview. Detailed information about the ISRO Assistant Exam is given below :- . Written Exam will be in two Parts. Part A:- There are 90 Questions in the exam. Questions will be asked from:- (i) General English (ii) General Knowledge (iii) Arithmetic (iv) Reasoning (v) Computer Literacy Part B:- This Part will be Descriptive by Nature. General English:- Applicants needs to focus on selected topics like Errors, Active Passive Voice, Fill in the blanks, Sentence Correction. Topics to focus :- Sentence Error, Sentence correction, fill in the blanks, Misspell word, One word Substitution, Active & Passive Voice, Preposition. General Awareness:- Applicants can cover syllabus according to their strength as in this sections questions are to be ask from History, Geography, Polity, Economy, Current Affairs. Applicants need to focus on Current Affairs related to Indian, Science Technology & News Related to ISRO. Quantitative Aptitude:- Topics to focus :- Simplification, Average, Percentage, Time & Work, Area, profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Speed, Investment, HCF LCM, Problem On Ages , Bar Graph, Pictorial Graph, Pie Chart. Reasoning:- Topics to focus :- Semantic Analogy, Symbolic/Number Analogy, Semantic Classification, Symbolic/Number Classification, Semantic Series, Figural Pattern – folding and completion, Number Series, Coding and de-coding, Problem Solving. Computer Knowledge:- question are asked from topics related to Basic of Computers, Computer Organization, Generations of computer, Input & Output Device, Shortcuts & Basic knowledge MS word, MS Excel, MS power point, Memory Orientation, Internet, LAN, WAN, Modem, Computer Abbreviations, Modern day Technology. Candidates can easily score in this sections because syllabus is not so vast. Questions ask on operations which a persons generally done on computers. Descriptive Section:- For writing scoring essay, applicants require to be familiar with Every day current topics & Recent News. Second important section is Comprehension Passage. Read Comprehension carefully & answer according to questions. Some questions of Synonym, Antonym & One word substitution can be ask from the passage. The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) conducts the entrance exam for admission to its Bachelor of Technology courses under different disciplines. Name of the Exam: ISRO Entrance Exam Conducting Authority: Indian Space Research Organization Eligibility for Exam: Intermediate/ Class 12th passed from the PCM Group. Bachelor of Technology with at least 65% marks in aggregate. Candidates who are in the final year of the qualifying degree can also apply. Entrance Exam Pattern: There will be an objective type paper divided into two parts for each subject as given below: Physics Chemistry and Mathematics The candidates should score at least 60% marks in the written as well as interview.
