Government of India, Department of Space, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), ISRO Centralised Recruitment Board [ICRB] had advertised a notification for the recruitment of 128 Light Vehicle Driver-A (LVD-A), Heavy Vehicle Driver-A (HVD-A) & Staff Car Driver-A (SCD-A) vacancies in the Level 2 of Pay Matrix of CCS (RP) Rules 2016 for posting at various DOS/ ISRO Centres/ Units on temporary basis.

Eligible candidates applied online from 08-08-2017 to 28-08-2017.

Total of the Posts: 128
Name of the Posts:
1. Light Vehicle Driver-A (LVD-A) : 50 Posts.
2. Heavy Vehicle Driver-A (HVD-A) : 76 Posts.
3. Staff Car Driver-A (SCD-A) : 02 Posts.

Age Limit:
Ones age limit was 35 years as on 28-08-2017 (40 years for SC/ ST candidates and 38 years for OBC candidates, against posts reserved for these categories).
Ex-Serviceman; Widows; Divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands and who were not remarried; Meritorious Sportspersons were eligible for age relaxation as per Govt. of India orders.

Educational Qualification:
One possessed in SSLC/ SSC/ Matric/ 10th Standard.

Selection Process:
One was selected on performance in Written Test and Skill Test.
