Entry level Scientist/Engineer 'SC'
Basic Salary: Rs 21000
Dearness Allowance (DA): (@107% ) Rs. 22470
House Rent Allowance (HRA): 30% of Basic in Bangalore i.e. Rs. 6300 (Varies from 10% to 30% depending on the city you live in)
Travel Allowance (TA): Rs 3200 in Bangalore (Varies with city)

DA on TA: (@107%) Rs. 3424

Total Rs. 55050 /


The Take Home Pay will be after deducting :
10% of Basic Pay, for Contributory Pension Scheme,
Income Tax,
Profession Tax,
Education Cess,
CGE Group Insurance contribution,
ISRO Insurance Schemes (Viswas/SAFE) contribution,
Subscription amount for Health Scheme (CHSS) etc.

There will be a 3% increment in the Basic Pay every year (in the month of July), which will reflect in the other components DA & HRA also.

A Professional Update Allowance of Rs.15000 will be provided every year in the Month of April.

From the second year onwards, the Performance Related Incentive Scheme (PRIS) also will be provided, if eligible.
