Indian School of Mines (ISM) Dhanbad accepts the cut off of CAT (Common Administration Test) for admission in MBA (Master in Business Administration) program. Eligibility One must have minimum 50% in aggregate or equivalent CGPA or CGPA/CPI of 5.0 in 10-point scale (without rounding off) in the qualifying degree for GN/OBC candidates minimum 45% or CGPA/CPI of 4.5 in 10-point scale (without rounding off) in the qualifying degree for SC/ST candidates. For Honours graduates the aggregate include marks of both Honours and Pass Papers One appearing for the final bachelor degree/ equivalent qualification exam can also apply Selection of applicants whose results in the qualifying degree exam are not declared will be provisional. Eligibility for Sponsored Candidates: In addition to the above requirements, the sponsored candidates have at least one-year full time work experience, at the time of application, in a govt. organization or companies of repute in the relevant field or in a recognized Academic Institutions The present employer must endorse application form of the sponsored candidates Selection Procedure The medium of examination is English Only short listed candidates are called for the attending the process of Admission, which consists of Group Discussion and Interview. Candidates are offered admission based on their ranking, their ranking in the selection process Candidates short-listed on the basis of CAT scores are called for GD & PI for final selection |
