As you want I am here telling you about the criteria for awarding a grade under Grading System of Indian School of Mines (ISM) Dhanbad for M.Tech program . Award of Grades as: Marks % Grade Performance Level Grade Point 91 - 100 A+ Outstanding 10 81 - 90 A Excellent 9 71 - 80 B+ Very Good 8 61 - 70 B Good 7 51 - 60 C+ Above Average 6 41 - 50 C Average 5 35 - 40 D Pass 4 Below 35 F Fail 0 Formula to calculating the Grade Point Average (GPA) for a semester: GPA= TCP /TCH = C1G1+ C2 G2+ C3 G3+…/ C1+ C2+ C3+.. Where G1, G2 etc stand for the Grade Point obtained in specified subjects. C1, C2 etc. stand for Credit Hours of the respective subjects.
