The Islamic Academy of Education carries on the entrance exam every year for students to get admission in the Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS & BDS) course of the Yenepoya Medical College and Bachelor of Dental Surgery course of the Yenepoya Dental College. Yenepoya Medical College and Yenepoya Dental College are associated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and it is also accredited through the Medical Council of India. Here I am giving you the details related to the Islamic Academy of Education Entrance Exam: Islamic Academy of Education Entrance Exam Courses name – MBBS or BDS Duration – 5 ½ Years or 5 Years Mode – Full Time Eligibility: The candidate should have should have 12th passed with good academic record from any recognized University or Board. Selection Process – The selection of the Islamic Academy of Education Entrance Exam 2013 based on the Merit List. Application Form – The application forms for the exam can get by the candidate on payment of Rs. 250 (non-refundable) by DD drawn in favor of the Islamic Academy of Education, payable at Mangalore. Once the application forms were filled up, they were submitted to the Islamic Academy of Education along with a DD for a sum of Rs.500 (non-refundable), payable at Mangalore. The candidates were also allowed to download the form directly from the website. The filled forms will then sent to the Islamic Academy of Education along with a DD for a sum of Rs.750. Application Fee – Rs.750 Important Dates: The tentative dates for the Islamic Academy of Education entrance exam for the session 2013 are as given below: The start date of issue of applications – Last week of November, 2013 The date of publication of results – February, 2013 Syllabus: For your reference here I am giving you the MBBS & BDS entrance exam syllabus: The preparation for MBBS Entrance Exam entails study of the following subjects: Botany – Anatomy and physiology of plants, systematic study of systems, Man& environment, cell biology, elementary genetics, development and biology, botany and human welfare. Zoology - Histology anatomy, physiology, reproductive system, developmental biology, diversity of animal life, genetics and evolution Chemistry – General organic and inorganic chemistry, structure of atoms, molecule and chemical bond, periodic properties of elements, organic chemistry introduction, nomenclature of organic compounds, Physical chemistry : state of matter, energetics, chemical equilibrium etc. Physics – Physical chemical, physics , measurement motion and kinetics, optics, Kinetic theory of gases, dynamics, electricity, electronics, electromagnetic induction, solids, nuclear physics, electrostatic devices.
