Placement process for MSQE and M.Stat students at ISI Delhi will star t in September,
2013.

The batch of 2013-14 has 21 students which hail from premier colleges in India.
The academic rigorousness of the programs makes our students valuable assets for
any organisation.

Placement Guidelines:

Companies fill up and email the campus recruitment form (CRF) to placement@
isid.ac.in
A mutually convenient date for Pre Placement Talks (PPTs) and campus recruitment
is decided. Lateral recruitments too can be allo wed at a mutually agreed date .
CVs of interested candidates are forwarded to the company. The company informs
the placement committee about the shor tlisted candidates.
The company visits the campus on the decided date and conducts its selection
process.

The company informs the placement committee about the finally selected candidates,
Preferably within a day.

Can you tell me about the Process and Rules for Placement in Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Kolkata?

The pre-placement talks and/or screening tests are conducted before the placement process, according to mutually convenient dates, without conflicting classes and examinations in Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Kolkata.

Process and Rules:

1. The companies send the Institute filled up the Campus Recruitment Form (CRF)

2. The job roles and exact salary details are mentioned. If any range is mentioned, institute will consider the lower limit as the salary committed by the company.

3. Institute allocate the slots (based on salary and interest from the students).

4. A few companies will be given slots on each of the placement days.

5. Institute will be able to provide at most 4 rooms to each recruiting team on the day of the interview.

6. During these days, pre-placement talks or screening tests will not be possible.

7. On each day, available shortlisted students will be allowed to appear for all the interview processes.

8. At the end of the interview process, the interviewing team declares which students they are offering the jobs to.

9. Although it is obvious to expect, the salary should also be re-confirmed at that time and it should not be less than the salary committed before.

10. If a student gets one or more jobs on that day, one will have to choose one and one will not be allowed to appear for any interviews on the subsequent days.
