The NIH Postbac IRTA program (CRTA, Cancer Research Training Award, in the National Cancer Institute) is offers for recent college graduates who are planning to apply to professional school , it is an an opportunity to spend one or two years performing full-time research at the NIH.

Eligibility:
This program is for college graduates who received their bachelor's degrees less than two years prior to the date they begin the program.
Applicant must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
Candidate must intend to apply to graduate or professional school during their tenure in the program.

Application Procedure:
1.candidates must apply online.
2.Interested applicant are encouraged to apply three to six months before they wish to begin their training at the NIH.
3. The application requires documents:
curriculum vitae or resume
list of coursework and grades
career goals
the names and contact information for three references.

Selection:
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis in the year round by scientists in the Institutes and Centers of the NIH and selected by them.

Eligibility:

Postbac IRTA/CRTA Program is for college graduates who received bachelor's degree .

Candidates must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.

Candidates must intend to apply to graduate or professional school during their tenure in the program.

Stipend Information:

Stipends for trainees are adjusted yearly , level depends on prior experience
